"Hermit" in Singapore writes about his all night, 60 mile ride around the island of Singapore. They started at 8 p.m. and finished their trip at 4 a.m. In this photo, nine bikes are leaned on the curb at the edge of the road while Hermit and his buddies take a break.
Hermit tells me that nighttime recreational riding is popular in Singapore. Cyclists avoid the daytime traffic and tropical heat by riding at night.
