42 foot tricycle

As seen on Japanese television...

This huge tricycle built by Kanyaboyina Sudhaker of Hyderabad takes 300 pedal revolutions for each wheel revolution. The wheels on this 42 foot tricycle has wheels that are 17 feet across. This trike is in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's largest tricycle. Thank you to Roto1000 for this tip.

More about Sudhaker and his vehicular creations are at his website.

:-)

I think it's something proprietary. But then I think "propietary" is Shimano's middle name.

BTW, I'm about ready for all this rain to finish up! But we're supposed to have two more storms come through at the end of this week.

This is sweet! Although I think his pedaling technique could use some work :)

And "bah" about the cassette...you know it's a fixed gear!

Oh yes, fixed for sure!

Hmm, "Godzilla's fixed gear trike" might be a cool name for a rock band.
