Bike zines

Itinerant cyclist published a list of magazines for utility cyclists. They are:
  • The Practical Pedal focuses on cycling as a form of enjoyable transportation. Their readers ride their bikes everywhere, be it to work, to the grocery store, or to the movies. This quarterly cycling magazine is available free online or in a dead-tree print edition which is distributed through bike stores and mail subscription.

  • Momentum, "the magazine for self propelled people." The bimonthly Momentum is colorful and splashy and has product reviews and photos of attractive people. $30/year to subscribe, or read online for free.

  • Itinerant also mentions Urban Velo, one of the newer online zines to hit the scene. Online only.

What else is out there?

I tried for days to download from the Practical Pedal web site. I couldn't get the .pdf to load or display the web version. Eventually the newsprint arrived via US Mail. Good stuff, but I'm not exactly sure how they will sustain it.

I had forgotten about Momentum

as for Urban Velo

it is downloadable
and it is purchasable
but
there is an eco idea there
do we really need the paper trail?
