If you're tempted to download Mozilla Firefox 1.5, don't. It crashes way too often and I'm getting absolutely sick of it. Ugh. Stay with an older version or a different browser.
Well, unloading the extensions kind of defeats the purpose of using Firefox, doesn't it? Nevertheless, I've been removing them one at a time and running a while to find out which one the culprit is.
Crashing tends to occur on websites heavy on Javascript/Ajax kind of code.
No Firefox crashed more than 1.5. (I'm using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1) It crahses here on W2K (the same happens on XP) - but as I could see mostly on mail.yahoo.com - what is very much annoying. Luckilly it happens at least AFTER sending an email ... but in that case almost always ... Any idea what to do?

I have been using it for some time and it is solid as stone.
I highly recommend it.
Sorry you're having troubles with it - maybe an extension needing updated?
I haven't had any trouble. Try unloading the plugins.

I think some extension writers were a little too quick to say 'hey my extension is fully 1.5 compatible.'
Mine has been just fine, with the exception one hiccup where I lost my theme and many setting sort of reverted to the default settings.
