Chris's poem

Carl lives in Colorado. His son wrote this poem:

My dad is like lightning.
He rides to work and back.
Going up down up down
To pick up my sister.

Carl writes, "When I read this the first time I choked up."

How old is that kid!? For a kid who can barely draw or write letters the way he wrote the up and down angled up and down and just the content is phenomenal. He'll be one to watch :)

I love it. I was similarly proud when my five year old wrote on a paper for preschool that going for rides in the bike trailer was one of his favorite things.
